<p class="bio">Chris Vernon is a digital host and contributor for Grind City Media and analyst on the Grizzlies LIVE! pregame and postgame shows for Grizzlies broadcasts, where he helps provide complete breakdowns and in-depth analysis for all home games alongside television analyst Brevin Knight and sideline reporter Rob Fischer. Vernon hosts “The Chris Vernon Show” on Grind City Media. “The Chris Vernon Show” has netted multiple awards over the years, including The Memphis Flyer’s “Best of Memphis” honors as “Best Radio Personality,” “Best Drive Time Show” and “Best Sports Radio Show,” in 2016. Outside of his Grizzlies responsibilities, Vernon serves as host of “The Ringer NBA Show” and “Ringer University” as part of The Ringer Podcast Network where he serves up insights and analysis for basketball and college football. A graduate of Freed Hardeman University, Vernon has lived and worked in Memphis since 2000, covering the Grizzlies since their inaugural season in the Bluff City. He previously lived in New York and St. Louis.</p>
